Rachel Wang

Founder & President

Rachel Wang, born in 2007, is a senior at Cary Academy and a zealous contributor to the table tennis community. As one of the top juniors in the country, Rachel has represented the U.S. multiple times and has secured a multitude of titles. She is an active leader in the community through coaching group lessons, taking the responsibility of team leader, and setting an example for younger kids. Over the course of her long and strenuous journey in table tennis, Rachel has personally experienced the trials of the training process. Her aspiration is that through her nonprofit, she can alleviate the challenges faced by young, aspiring players on their journey to success.

Jinhao Lee

Vice President

Jinhao Lee, born in 2007, is an active and dedicated player in the table tennis community.  While his journey in the sport began relatively late, at the age of 12, he quickly developed a passion and interest for table tennis. He has participated in many local and national tournaments, and through consistent training and commitment, he hopes to make a lasting impact on the sport. However, beyond personal achievements, Jinhao aspires to promote the sport and create opportunities for individuals of all age groups to engage with the sport, fostering a sense of community, fitness, and fun.

Zelin Ye

Director of Development

Zelin Ye, born in 2007, stands as a dynamic and passionate force within the table tennis community. Embarking on this journey at the young age of eight, he has not only showcased a natural affinity for the sport but also an unwavering enthusiasm. Positioned as one of the highest-rated junior players in Canada, Zelin has earned recognition in national and global tournaments. However, his contributions extend far beyond personal accomplishments. Deeply committed to the growth and development of table tennis at the minute level, Zelin invests his time in community outreach. Demonstrating remarkable leadership qualities, he mentors and inspires the next generation of players, seeing in table tennis not just a sport but a means to promote health, wellness, and joy across all ages. His vision extends towards creating more inclusive and accessible platforms, allowing everyone to experience the thrills and benefits of table tennis and thereby enriching the sporting community.

Luca Jiang

Tournament Manager

Luca Jiang, born in 2007, is a committed supporter of the table tennis community who hopes that his journey in competitive table tennis can serve as a reminder for beginner players of all ages that it is never too late to pursue one’s dreams. Though Luca entered the world of table tennis only in 2023, he has been able to participate actively in local competitions and acquire multiple titles at national tournaments all within the span of his first year, thanks to the continuous support of his team and community. Now, Luca is devoted to giving back to his community, and he spends his weekends directing tournaments, organizing logistics, and designing flyers. Going forward, Luca wishes to continue expanding the table tennis community to welcome and uplift aspiring players of any background.

Ashaz Farooqui

Content Manager

Ashaz Farooqui, born in 2008, started playing table tennis at the age of 9 and quickly developed a passion for the sport. He helped establish a table tennis club in India along with his father, aiming to promote a healthy lifestyle among busy corporate players who share a love for the game. In addition to his involvement in the club, Ashaz was the captain of his school team. He led them to success in several interschool tournaments and won many medals along the way. Having recently moved to the U.S., Ashaz is dedicated to promoting table tennis with TTD and connecting with others through the sport.

Louis Levene

Communications Manager

Louis Levene, born in 2000, is a prominent member of the table tennis community whose goal is to see the sport continue to grow and prosper. He believes table tennis is a sport for everyone, and that each individual has the potential to learn and improve. Louis runs a YouTube channel (Looeelooee) that provides free coaching content and focuses on strategy and match play. Although no longer playing full time or competing regularly, Louis has recorded victories against many of the top players in the country, including members of the US and other countries’ national teams. Louis reached a peak playing standard of over 2400 and peak USATT rating of 2343. He started playing in 2015 and went from a standard of 900 to a USATT rating of 1847 in just 10 months. Louis has also coached members of the US national team.

Hannah Song

VP Volunteer – Southwest Region

Hannah Song, born in 2007, is a senior from Houston, TX, who has been involved in table tennis for almost ten years. As one of the top juniors in the nation, she’s grateful to have represented the U.S. many times, including internationally. However, rather than gold medals or impressive titles, she finds the setbacks and challenges of her table tennis journey the most valuable, as they were crucial for her personal growth and development. She understands the value that younger, emerging players can learn from these experiences and, hence, is passionate about helping to provide more meaningful tournament opportunities for them.

Lucy Chen

VP Volunteer – Northeast Region

Lucy Chen, born in 2006, is a senior at North Shore High School and excels as a dedicated student athlete in the table tennis community. Inspired by her Olympian parents, Lucy ventured into the sport at the age of 4. In recent years, she has represented the US in over 20 international events, achieving notable success, including becoming globally ranked top 40 in the U19 Girls' category. Throughout her passionate career, Lucy has embarked on a remarkable journey of personal growth and achievement. Beyond her own successes, Lucy is committed to leveraging her skills to inspire others and promote the positive aspects of table tennis, aiming to foster greater appreciation and participation in the sport.
